Our method: Scrum with AI, security and quality included
Increments delivered every 1 to 2 weeks, with security and quality built in
TIC-NOVA works in Scrum, with AI, to deliver a quality product incrementally. Whether you are launching an MVP or bringing an idea to life, security and quality are never put off until later.
How it works
A project moves forward in sprints. A sprint lasts 1 or 2 weeks depending on the project.
-
A 1 or 2-week sprint
We choose the length with you, depending on the project. The work is split into small increments.
-
A usable version every sprint
You do not receive a progress report: you try the product as it stands that day.
-
A review with you at the end of the sprint
We show what is done, you adjust the priorities, we plan the next sprint.
AI in the development cycle, humans in command
AI steps in at every stage of the sprint. It speeds up the work. Humans decide and review.
-
Coding assistants
They suggest code; a developer reads it and corrects it.
-
Tests
AI helps write the tests; they then run without it.
-
Review
AI flags anomalies before the human review; it does not replace it.
-
Documentation
It is written with AI, then checked against the code.
We choose the tool according to your constraints: Claude Code, Codex, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or models installed on your side, such as Llama and Mistral.
From the first conversation to production
Sprints follow one another along the course of a project.
-
Idea
We scope the need with you in half a day.
-
Mockup
You click through your future product within a few days.
-
MVP
A first version in production in 6 to 8 weeks.
-
Production
We evolve it, monitor it and hand it over.
Security and quality by default
An increment is only delivered if it is “done”. Here is what that means for us.
Quality
- Automated tests run on every change.
- Automated end-to-end tests, written with AI and tracked in Xray.
- Speed, accessibility (WCAG AA) and SEO checked with Lighthouse. On this site, delivery stops below 95 out of 100.
- Screenshots checked on mobile and on desktop before every delivery.
- No unnecessary JavaScript: this page loads none.
Security
- No secrets in the code: keys and passwords live in the delivery server’s variables.
- Every input is validated on the server, not only in the browser.
- Personal data is minimized: we only collect what is useful.
- HTTP security headers verified and dependencies audited.
Delivery
- Every change is reviewed by a developer before it is merged.
- Documentation updated along with the code.
- Known rollback: every deployed version remains available.
- Code, documentation and access handed over to the client.
Frequently asked questions
How long does a sprint last?
A sprint lasts 1 or 2 weeks depending on the project. We set the length with you at scoping. Each sprint ends with a usable version and a review with you.
Who reviews the code produced with AI?
A TIC-NOVA developer reviews every change before it is merged, and automated tests run before delivery. AI proposes, humans decide and review.
What happens to my code and my data?
The code, the documentation and the access are handed over to you, and you can take the project over with any team. We minimize personal data, no secrets are passed to AI tools, and a 100% local option exists if needed.
What about the security of an MVP?
It does not depend on the size of the product. An MVP follows the same rules as a production application: secrets kept out of the code, inputs validated on the server, data minimized, dependencies audited.
Can we stop after one sprint?
Each sprint delivers a usable version, and the code, the documentation and the access are handed over to you: you can continue with another team or in-house. The terms for stopping are set with you at scoping.
